Pet care experience
I was raised with dogs and cats and as soon as I could, I got pets of my own. I currently have an 8 year old Labradoodle, Sam, and Hazel, an 11 month old Jack Russel terrier/Queensland Healer mix. They are super friendly and would love to have your dog(s) over! Using Cesar Milan’s techniques, I rehabilitated a unstable/scared/aggressive adult male shelter/rescue Boxer with success and loved him through the duration of his life. I trained him to be sociable, secure, well behaved, off leash and dog and cat friendly. I use Cesar’s methods to train my current puppy and am happy to work with your dogs on any training needs if you like! I regularly jog with my dogs off-leash in the mornings at the beach or the Douglas Preserve and then take them on an on-leash walk in the evening. I like to make sure their energy is used in healthy ways that are good for them and my house ;). I am comfortable with extra large breed dogs as well as small dogs! I understand and am sensitive to the different personalities and temperaments of dogs and am happy to get to know yours! Not all dogs are the same!

Nicole is the best!! My dog Spaghetti seems to feel right at home and always comes back to me so exhausted! I know he is well loved and cared for with Nicole’s family and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
Nicole had a very quick response time :)! She had great communication and an obvious love for dogs! Having a last minute trip out of town, she was able to watch my dog for me and had nothing but amazing things to say about my dog :)! She’s a very sweet lady and I would highly recommend booking with her if you want your dog in a safe/loving environment. :))))
Nicole was great and took excellent care of our dog! We have a large “puppy” (80 pounds, 1.5 years old) and she was not phased and gave him a great time, playing with other dogs at her house, a dog park and at the beach. He likely had a better time without us! We are very appreciative of Nicole’s quick response to our last minute request, and all the updates she provided throughout the time.

I love exercising/running/walking/ swimming with dogs! I love taking them to the beach, the mountains, even just walking around the neighborhood. My years of having retrievers have trained me to be an expert ball thrower/kicker too! I have an 8 seater minivan that allows me to bring lots of furry friends when I go out and I love it! The more the merrier! When we aren’t out and about, the dogs often play in my 16 foot netted trampoline, chase each other in my super spacious fenced in back yard, or enjoy digging holes in the dirt! When they’re in snuggle mode we lounge on the couch, in my bed or with my kids in their beds.

I want your dog to have a family that works for them as much as we want dogs that fit well with us! I appreciate knowing your dogs temperament with other dogs and cats (I have a couple but they are trained to deal with pesky dogs) and kids (they’re trained to handle dogs too!) and in general. I’m interested in learning about any separation anxiety your dog may have as well as excessive barking/aggression issues. My puppy rate is for puppies who are not yet house broken.
A typical day
Either your pooch will be on an adventure with me and my dogs or we will be at home with my family. They will have access to tons of toys and have dogs to play with or they can sleeeeeeep the day away… whatever they want! We have dog beds, comfy couches, or plenty of space in the sun or dirt! Something for any dog preference ☺️ My kids love dogs too and so your pup won’t be lacking any affection or attention while with us!

Availability
I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule. I am home every day until the late mornings and on the two days that I’m at my shop my partner is home on dog duty. I find that my morning routine tires out the dogs and they sleep until I return. With puppies, I have a crate that I can use in times where I need to leave for a short duration. I take my dogs everywhere I go and spend as much time as I (and they) can running around and playing!
