Pet care experience
All my life I've loved animals of all shapes and sizes! I've had dogs for most of my life, and over the years I've also gained experience with cats, rabbits, hamsters, and freshwater fish. Currently I have three cats and a dog of my own who I love dearly. :) On a professional level, I started petsitting as a business in April of 2022. In the short time since then I've gained a HUGE client base with mostly repeat customers! I've looked after dogs ranging from the tiniest Yorkies to snuggly Great Danes; I'm not easily intimidated by a dog's size (or lack thereof). I've also done drop-in visits for cats, and my experience has even grown to include administering medication and looking after senior animals or animals with disabilities. I take pride in my work and truly care about every single animal I work with - trust me, there's no better feeling in the world than running into a dog I've looked after and that dog being SO excited to see me because it recognizes its babysitter!

I can ONLY watch pets in your (the client's) home, since I have pets of my own and my cats aren't thrilled to have other animals coming and going from their "kingdom". I do take safety and the security of your home VERY seriously, whether it involves properly closing/locking doors or ensuring a hazard-free environment for your pets in general. Because of my extensive experience with animals and my keen eye for detail, you can count on your pets being safe and protected at all times while you're away! I know it can be nerve-wracking to let a stranger into your home, so I love booking Meet & Greets before the job starts so you can get to know me a little bit and put a face to the name. This also lets me meet the pets I'll be watching in the environment that I'll be watching them in, and gives us the chance to ask each other questions! These Meet & Greets are free of charge and are NEVER rushed, so please don't hesitate to reach out about them. :)

I would love to know the size/breed of your dog, its age, and any pre-existing health conditions ahead of time so that I can make sure I'm prepared for our stay together! I also like knowing if your dog is spayed/neutered, how they tend to react to other dogs, and a little bit about their personality in general - this lets me tailor my work to exactly what your dog needs, so that they can have the most comfortable, happiest time possible while their favorite human is away!
A typical day
I'm eager to adapt to whatever your pet most desires! Does your dog want long, active walks? Is your cat always looking for snuggles? Whatever it is that keeps your pet happiest, I'd love to provide! I have experience walking dogs of all sizes, and I especially love walking them on trails or through the suburbs where we can enjoy some peace and quiet together while also getting some exercise. I also have experience walking multiple big dogs at a time, so no need to worry that your pups might be too much for me!

Availability
My schedule is incredibly flexible. Petsitting is my main job, and I make every effort I can to book clients in a way that lets me help out as many of you as possible! I'm also able to work around your pets' specific care needs, whether that entails early morning walks, late night feedings, or even your pet's silly habit of waking you up at 2:00am to go outside!
