Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my whole life (my mom is the reason I love dogs so much!). In October of 2021, my husband and I rescued our dog Charlie when he was just 12 weeks old and we’ve loved him from the day we met him. I trained him completely on my own and he turned out pretty great, if you ask me :) Prior to owning my own dog, I fostered dogs while I was in high school on top of caring for our family dogs (we had three of our own at the time). I have always been solely responsible for taking care of my family dogs when my parents are away. I’ve been dog sitting for a few years now and absolutely love it and Charlie does too! We love having the extra company.

I currently live in a house with my husband and dog Charlie. We have a backyard for running around but I keep Charlie on his leash as we don’t have a fence. It’s a safe and quiet neighborhood - on a quiet road!

Ahead of time, any special care requirements is important for me to know whether that be related to feeding, specific sleeping or exercise needs. If your dog is not 100% friendly with other dogs, please let me know ahead of time as well as we have our dog.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks in my neighborhood and bringing them over to the dog park across the street from my apartment. I usually bring a ball so we can take advantage of the large open space for fun games of fetch! There is no shortage of toys in my apartment, so there’s plenty of opportunity to tug-of-war and play at home too!

I'm currently working remotely and have a pretty flexible schedule. While I have some meetings during the day, I'm able to meet your pet's needs! I can make sure they are walked/fed/played with frequently.
