Pet care experience
My family always had dogs growing up, and often looked after family and friends' pets while on vacation or out of town. My own pets over the years have all been little dogs, including some muts, a Dachshund, and a toy Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. However, I've cared for dogs of all sizes, including Pit Bulls, Labs, Retrievers, Dobermans, Yorkies, Beagles, Pugs, Bull Terriers, Shih Tzus, and others. I love all dogs and would love to care for yours while you're away! I've handled pill medication hidden in treats, and given liquid oral drops to my own dog in the past, but haven't had any other medical experience with animals. I have a biology degree and used to do in-home health care for an Alzheimer's patient, so I'm definitely up for learning something new should your pet need special attention. Since moving to Georgia to work for a missions organization, I travel on occasion for work, I currently don't have any pets. I do work full time, so I am unable to give 24/7 care, but would love to do drop ins or walks! I will make the most out of my time with your beloved pet, and I look forward to caring for others' dogs to get my fill of puppy love!

Nichole R. is an absolute treasure. I do not know what we would have done without her assistance. We needed someone to walk our dog 2 times a day as both my husband and I had medical issues which prevented our being able to walk our sweet Cassius. Nichole became fast friends with our guy. I know he adored her and would be so excited to see her when she would arrive. She also made sure he had his treat and even wiped down his coat, to remove the pollen, when he'd rolled around in the grass.

A typical day
It truly depends on the dog! Walks, fetch, cuddles, play at nearby park- whatever you think would best fit the needs of your pet. As I'm not set up to care for dogs at my own place, I'd prefer finding something local to your neighborhood.

I don't have any pets of my own, but can easily come before/after work, and possibly during lunch depending on location, to care for your pet. My regular job is 8-5.
