-As a medical student with stellar performance reviews based on my ability to care for sick and dying humans, you can bet I will take excellent care of your pup-- especially because pups are cuter than humans. I am super reliable and communicative, won't bail on you, and will spam you with all the pics of your fur child you want! -Owner of two extremely high maintenance divas AKA german shepherds (and have had GSDs since I was 5!). One has just about every condition you could think of (anxiety, aggressive to strangers, epilepsy, hot spots, hip dysplasia) so I am super comfortable adapting to whatever care needs and quirks your pup has. -Can comfortably walk multiple large breed dogs with ....exuberant leash manners thanks to my own ;) -Comfortable giving medications, including injections, and doing basic pet first aid

Nicole was so great with our pit bull mix! She stopped by our house twice before we left and was willing to stay as long as we wanted in order to make us feel comfortable. Sent us constant updates while we were out of town too that made us really happy. Can’t recommend her enough. Brilliant soon to be doctor who we hope to work with again in the future!

My pups are total couch and bed surfers. In my family, dogs are basically people. Any dog I care for will receive all the love and affection they are comfortable with. I am patient with dogs and know that many of our pups, especially the best types (rescue dogs), have trauma in their past and need time to build trust.

While I love all pups, I am a great option for folks with large dogs that have behavioral issues for whatever reason. I know that when I look for care for my own pup with stranger anxiety and aggression, I worry about the sitter's ability to read his body language, successfully control him on a leash, and anticipate any triggers in the environment. I have a soft spot in my heart for pups with these needs as my rescue pup Simon went through A LOT before I got him and I have had to learn all these skills over my past 5 years being his mama.
A typical day
I love to walk the trails in Tierrasanta and around Villa de Norte park. My dogs also love trips to the dog beaches in Coronado and Mission Beach!

Availability
I am in my fourth year of medical school and most of my coursework is over Zoom. I have a super flexible schedule and lots of time during the day to take breaks from class to hang with some pups.
