My entire life has been filled with a Love for animals. I treat animals with the utmost respect and Love. They are family. I'm am also well versed in Special needs caregiving, including harness walks, backpack walks, wheelchair use, giving medication and first aid care. I love hiking and trail walking to get those sniffers going! Enrichment and positive reinforcement are the foundation of my interaction with animals.

I was so excited to get a turtle, it is the pet I always wanted. Nicole helped me set up a tank and taught me how to care for my turtle. That was 12 years ago. Nicole has helped me several (many, many) times over the years troubleshoot problems with Mytlle Turtle's shell, tank, and feeding regiment. She even helped me design and execute Myrtle's current turtle mansion! She is very knowledgeable about all kids of animals. I took my my turtle in for a check up when she turned 10 years old and the exotic pet vet said Myrtle was in excellent condition. I owe that to Nicole's help.

I can provide play in your fenced yard or inside the home, but my goal is to get outside on a trail for environmental enrichment hikes. I love to get those sniffers working. I will always walk with proper equipment, including 6 foot leash, or long lead if allowed. If you have toys, games or favorite treats you would like me to use, I would love to help with keeping your pet happy. Working on training every day is an important part of caring for animals. Busy minds and bodies make for tired, happy well rounded individuals. Safety is always at the forefront of any interaction and I am confident in my ability to observe a situation based on your dogs body language.

I am delighted to provide any special needs your pet may have. I can administer meds and I am familiar with mobility aids and training devices. I can also provide light stretching and massage. Please let me know if there are any important things your pet may need and I will be happy to try and accommodate them.
A typical day
A typical session usually starts with a greeting and affection to assess the dogs mood and physical health. Once I know they are ready for some Adventure we are on our way. I can provide positive reinforcement through treats, praise and play while we brush up on training and obedience. I like to take different routes on walks to provide variety and lots of sniff time! I can also provide a light groom if needed. You can have the piece of mind that if anything unexpected may occur, I am familiar with first aid care and emergency procedures.

I have a full time day job working from home, so I am available any time after 3pm on weekdays for walks and drop ins, and all day on weekends for walks and drop ins.
