Years of animal training and vet tech experience. Direct experience with, but not limited to: exotics (birds of prey, raccoons, small gators... most native FL wildlife), canines (seniors, puppies, special needs), felines (kittens, seniors, special needs), and equines (horses, donkeys, etc). I was an equine hospital technician for one season, and a small animal technician for a year, and volunteered in a wildlife animal hospital for about 14 months. From basic training, basic care, special diets, and medication administration - I've got the experience! My personal animal background includes: - Multiple dogs my whole life (love my current two senior "pups,"!) - Over 15 years riding/handling horses - 2 parakeets over the years - Freshwater & saltwater tanks - Red eared slider turtle

We have used her multiple times over the last 5 years I’ve known her. She has taken care of our 3 dogs and cat like they’re her own. They get so excited to see her that they don’t care we’re leaving for a week! Not to mention she didn’t hesitate to pet sit for us when we grew our little farm to include chickens, ducks, and parakeets!

I care for each animal exactly as requested by their owner. If the animal is used to being fed 3x/day and played with for 30mins/day - the pet will get exactly that. Owners going away from home can be stressful for the animal, and my goal is always to ensure that stress is negated as much as possible by maintaining their typical routine.

I can administered various medications; whether your pet is diabetic, needs eye ointments, or other topicals - I am a trained vet tech with canines, felines, and equines. If your pet has any behavioral "quirks," - please let me know beforehand. Any aggressive behaviors that may be triggered by other dogs must be made clear - as I have two dogs. I can negate this issue by changing into freshly washed clothes before tending to your dog. Some dogs do not like their heads pet by people with two hands - something some people don't think twice about. Body language like this is crucial for both my safety and your animals, so please let me know of any and all information beforehand.
A typical day
Pets need routine, and many are anxious when their owners leave. I will actively play with them, take them on walks, and keep them company during your time away from home. Mentally and physically keeping animals occupied is crucial to their overall comfort and happiness when pet parents are away. Every pet is different, though, and any limitations will be discussed prior to pet sitting begins.

Availability
I currently have a flexible schedule and will only accept customers in which I can dedicate the appropriate amount of time to their pets. Each household is different; every pet has different needs. I will adjust my schedule accordingly after discussing each pet's needs with their owner. An independent middle aged kitty with no health issues requires different care than a 9 week old deaf puppy! I take each case with the utmost dedication to ensuring the animal feels their schedule/routine is not disturbed from what they normally expect with their owners.
