Hello, I'm Nikki! I'm as big of a dog lover as it gets, which is why I wanted to offer my services here on Rover. There's so much fulfillment to be had from watching someone's beloved pooch, knowing you're giving them total peace of mind, simply by giving their furry friend all the love and attention as if it were my own. I've been a dog person for pretty much my entire life. They captured my heart at an early age, and they've never let go. I watched family member's dogs on a regular basis for years, and they gave me more clients through word of mouth. Next thing I knew, I had a little group of regular doggie boarders. I prefer one dog at a time, so I can give it my undivided focus (and belly rubs galore). Pick me, and your K9 family member will get spoiled (in a good way), meanwhile you'll get honesty, commitment, communication and trust.

Nicole did a great job with Pistol. He’s a very energetic dog and can be hard to handle but she did great with him. She also sent me some really cool pictures. I would recommend her for sure.
Zoey is our family's first pet and we were so nervous at the thought of having to leave Zoey for three nights. Nicole was so understanding and sweet to answer all my questions and accommodate all my requests for Zoey's stay. My family felt so comfortable with Nicole and her husband Josh after meeting them and seeing Zoey wag her tail in Nicole's arms, that we knew she'd be fine. It was still a very nerve-wracking experience to leave Zoey for the first time but Nicole sent updates and pictures to keep us in the loop. We would not hesitate to leave Zoey with Nicole and Josh the next time we are out of town!
My dog Shadow loves staying with Nikki and Josh! They take him on fun walks and send me cute photos. It's nice knowing that he is safe and well taken care of while I'm on a trip. Highly recommend.

A typical day
They'll get all the pets they want, and if they like to snuggle, even better. When inside, I like to play with a toy or ball (I have some here, but if they have a favorite from home that they want to bring, even better!) or maybe some tug-o-war. If they like to relax and/or take lots of naps, then I'll have their own bed and space carved out for them, or they can grab a spot on the couch or the bed and chill out. My place is their place, and I want them to be as comfy as possible. I love walking dogs, and for basic bathroom/stretching out type of walks, I like to take them around my neighborhood here in downtown Fullerton. For the extended walks, which I like to take them on every other day or so, we'll go walking in some fun places, like Laguna Lake in Fullerton, horse/walking trails in Yorba Linda, or a nice stroll in old town Orange or the Newport Beach boardwalk.
