Certified professional dog trainer (CPDT- KA Certification). Avid animal lover looking to spend quality time with your beloved pets and give them all the love and attention they'd miss while you're away! I have worked in shelter medicine for over a year and have experience using fear-free methods to ensure that your animals view me as a friend and not a stranger. Training and enrichment are huge parts of my own animal care that I would love to be able to do when I visit. I love all dogs from the biggest Great Danes to the smallest Chihuahuas and I look froward to getting to know you're special furry friend. I have spent my entire life taking care of animals, and you can expect complete peace of mind with my watchful eyes. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, rodents (rats, gerbils, hamsters), reptiles (snakes and lizards), birds, and horses. I also am a photography enthusiast and you can expect me to capture some PURRfect moments while you’re away! Excellent care for my fur-babies
If you’re looking for someone to look after your fur babies while you’re away, look no further! Nicole is absolutely amazing! To start, we were a little nervous about letting someone in our home to watch our doggies while being away that we didn’t know, but Nicole passed the interview process with flying colors! She eased our minds with her professionalism and our doggies took to her immediately. She not only took great care of our doggies while we were away, she loved them and really cared for them and made them feel like their home routine wasn’t interrupted by us being gone. She is kind, caring, responsible, and has great communication skills! Oh! She is also an excellent photographer and we loved receiving daily pictures of our fur babies while we were away! I can’t recommend her enough! We love Nicole and will continue to trust her with our fur babies! 😊
Nicole was amazing!!! She took wonderful care of my pup. My pup is hesitant with new people and Nicole demonstrated such patience with her as she warmed up! She was at my home all day just loving on my babies and sent me photos every day! Highly recommend and will book again!

Safety is priority number 1! I will always defer to whatever you and your pet are most comfortable with, be it crated while away (we can even play crate games if they're nervous about it), loose in a bedroom, of free roaming. You know your pet the best and what is going to ease their stress the most while you're gone!
Information Nicole M. would like to know about your pet
No size or breed restrictions here! Some things I would love to know about your dog(s) are how they feel about strangers and resources. Is your pooch protective over treats or toys? If you have multiple pets, do they need to be fed separately to avoid any disagreements or food stealing? Is your dog reactive on walks (meaning jumping, lunging, barking)? While absolutely none of these issues are deal breakers (I have successfully dealt with each and every one of them in some capacity) it is super helpful to know beforehand! I would also love to know anything you think would be beneficial for me to do while you're away to make their stay as easy as possible.
A typical day
Having worked with many reactive dogs, I prefer quiet, low traffic trails to give dogs the time to decompress, sniff, dig, and just be a dog. I have found that a 10 minute training session (using positive reinforcement based methods only), paired with a 15 minute walk or run is the perfect thing to tire out even the most energetic of pups.
