I have been a pet lover for 26 years! Growing up I had a few pet fish and got a pet cat at age 9. I spent my childhood playing with my grandmother's dog and taking him for walks, longing for a dog of my own. When I was 13 my parents finally gave in and got our family dog, Nellie. Nellie is a Portuguese Water Dog. This breed is known to be very high maintenance and very high energy. Even though she is high maintenance and requires a lot of attention, we love her immensely. Nellie attended puppy school when she was younger where I learned some training techniques and she is now a senior and has different needs which I have had to adapt to. Having pets brought a lot of joy and happiness into my life. I love animals in general and love meeting other people's dogs and cats. It is important that your pets feel loved and get the attention that they need even when you aren't around. I am more than happy to walk your dogs or petsit your dogs and/or cats when you are away. I have a lot of experience caring for both dogs and cats as I have had at least one for the past 17 years and have taken care of family and friends pets.

It was a pleasure having Nicole as someone I could rely on for the morning feedings and other duties that she completed daily as requested . Buttercup and Muffin seemed to have made a new friend . I would definitely consider hiring Nicole again if the time presented itself in the near future !
Nicole provided exceptional care for Ollie during his stay. Ollie not only enjoyed his time with Nicole and her family but thrived under their care. Nicole's attention to detail, from the cleanliness of Ollie to the meticulous care of his toys and crate, showcased her commitment to his well-being. We trained Ollie in Chinese so Ollie could not understand commands in English, Nicole took the effort to learn those commands in Chinese to better take care of Ollie. Daily photo and video updates kept us reassured, and her willingness to drive Ollie to dog parks added an extra layer of care. Nicole's above-and-beyond approach makes her an outstanding choice for pet owners, and we wholeheartedly recommend her. Ollie looks forward to staying with Nicole again!

If you are away and I am caring for your pet I try to keep their routine as similar as possible to how it is when you are home. During our meet and greet I will ask you about your pet's feeding, walking, playtime and sleeping habits. I offer boarding in my home as well as petsitting in your home, so you can choose what is best for you and your pet. I have a cat in my home but she probably won't interact much with your pet if they stay at my house.

Please let me know if your dog has any particular behavioral issues or if they are scared of anything. I need to know if they get along with other dogs (i.e. can they greet other dogs on a walk or do I need to keep them away). Also good to know if your dog likes car rides.
A typical day
I am more than happy to take your dog(s) for walks or care for your pets at your home while you are away. I always treat animals with care and attentiveness. Dogs should be walked daily or multiple times a day depending on the breed, their energy levels and the owner's wishes. I will feed your pets according to the schedule and instructions you provide me with. Litter boxes will be cleaned and cats will be played with and/or pet if they require affection (some cats like to keep to themselves). Dogs will be played with, pet and cuddled and can be bathed upon request. I allow my pets on the furniture in my home but in your home I will follow whatever rules you have for your pets. I will treat your pets with the same love and care that I give my pets. Notice: Rates listed on my profile are for clients located near the Scarborough Bluffs area. Prices are subject to change/increase based on the service requested and commute time.

Availability
I have a few regular clients who I walk dogs for. I also clean houses part time with a flexible schedule. I do accept same day bookings if I have availability in my schedule, however, it is best to give as much notice as possible.
