Pet care experience
Hey! 👋🏼 My name is Nicole and I am currently a 3rd year veterinary student. I have been on a long journey to become a veterinarian for the past 10 years. Before veterinary school, I received a B.S in Animal Science from Penn State. My main interests in veterinary medicine are horses, shelter medicine, and exotics. My entire life has been caring, loving, and nurturing animals in all stages of life. I am a lifelong pet owner & currently have a golden retriever, 2 cats, a horse, a mini horse, a bearded dragon, a chinchilla, and a turtle! I have years of experience in dog walking/pet sitting & have been a Meowtel cat sitter for 6 months. My life & career is dedicated to helping people & their pets — I hope I can help you & yours!🫶🏼

Safety, trust & environment
I try to keep your pets schedule as routine as possible to mimic their natural schedule with you. It can be overwhelming to have a stranger taking over their care in their space— so I try to minimize any additional stress where I can by being patient and respectful in their space. Let me know your COVID preferences so I can respectfully follow them!
Information Nicole M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know about any special needs & Im happy to accommodate for your pet to provide what is necessary to keep them comfortable. Any tips on their behavior is encouraged so I can take care to pay attention to these details.
A typical day
I think various forms of enrichment are the best to truly tire your dog out! Especially mental stimulation — this means smelling new smells, completing a challenge (I have games to play!), or anything to stimulate their mind in a new way & engage them cognitively.

Availability
I live close to LIU Post in Syosset. My school schedule is always evolving & is rarely consistent, so I won’t be able to travel too far from my area to accommodate further clients. I can try to accommodate various times of the day, message me and let’s see if we can work something out!
