Hello! My name is Nicole, I'm a public health graduate student at the George Washington University. As a graduate student, I am home most of the day and have the time to care for, walk, and "tucker out" your dog; the added company during the day is further welcomed :) Originally from San Diego, where I have 3 big, silly dog siblings. My earliest memories are surrounded by looking after and caring for animals. Always have 1, if not 2, puppies in the house, I have found taking care of their needs to surpass my own. Moving out here to the east coast was a leap of faith, to start my graduate school career, and while I love the city, I am missing the company of dogs and the happiness they bring to a household. I find myself now looking for doggy friends to fill the void of not having my fur family members on the east coast. Having raised puppies, I am well versed in patience and persistence. I am a strong believer that dogs ARE family, and require the same amount of love, care, and attention you would give to any other family member. I have years of house and dog sitting experience that has prepared me for caring for dogs of all sizes and age. I am an avid runner and have a strong assertion for long walks and plenty of playtime! Additionally, I have experience caring for dogs with special health needs, should your animal have any special accommodations please let me know and I will be happy to administer them. I further want to care for your pet in a way that fits the schedule and behaviors you wish to see. I am more than happy to follow sleep, eating, training, and bathroom schedules; I believe consistency is a crucial part of transitions while animals are in a new environment and I want to ease any transition in the best of my abilities.
