Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. From puppies to seniors, I understand the care and nurture for each individual dogs needs. I believe that patience is essential in the treatment of all animals, and will always utilize this skill. I think it is best when dogs are kept on a regular feeding schedule, same as humans! Second, plenty of playtime and exercise is important to every dog for their health. I always consider age and weight when walking the dogs, to make sure nobody is overworked or left coming home with too much energy. I am currently available throughout the day, with a flexible schedule at the moment. I am working at home on graduate school matters, so I will be home with the dog pretty much the entire day. I live in a spacious open plan apartment, with a nice sized fenced in patio. My building also has a dog run/dog park inside, perfect for potty breaks and socializing. If you do not wish your dog to socialize, I can take them out privately. I live alone, so there will not be someone else regularly here. Occasionally I have some friends drop by for dinner, but no more often than once a week.

Nicole unfortunately confirmed our doggy daycare stay, and then was not home nor responsive to messages and phone calls. This was a massive inconvenience and we had to spend much of the day working with friends and family to ensure our puppy was not left alone the entire day. I booked Nicole to provide doggy daycare a week in advance of a day where both my wife and I had to be away from our home. Nicole and I had some back and forth discussion, she confirmed her availability, and I booked the visit. The day before, I contacted Nicole through Rover messaging to confirm which door we should use in her apartment building (I have friends in the same building), and how to best contact her and get let in. No response to several messages. At our agreed upon drop off time, my wife showed up at Nicole’s apartment with our pup in tow. Used the call box, and there was no response. Another resident let her in, and she knocked on Nicole’s door. Again no response. I tried calling several times the number Nicole provided - no answer. We still have not heard back from Nicole in any way, and this caused us both a massive inconvience yesterday trying to coordinate several friends and family to check on our young puppy at home so he wasn’t left alone all day, exactly what we aimed to avoid by booking a Rover sitter for the day.
We loved Nicole!! She was wonderful with my pup for the weekend. Great communicator. Nicole send me updates throughout the weekend and my pup came home so happy and tired from all the fun/exercise. We definitely plan to book with Nicole again.
Nicole was great! She was very responsive and able to take my pup Cooper on pretty short notice. She took him on lots of walks and he came home tired, exactly what you'd hope for!
Nicole is a perfect candidate for watching or walking dog. We have been friends for 5 years and Nicole's love of animals and responsibility became very clear when I adopted my dog Sadie. Sadie and I are so lucky that we have Nicole as a friend. When I adopted Sadie I new I wouldn't be able to take care of her and train her alone. Nicole has stepped up many times to care for her, whether it's to watch her for a weekend, when I have a long workday or just take her on walks. I am not the only person Nicole has helped like this either. Her passion for pets has led her to walk and care for many of my friends dogs over the years. She is always timely, responsible and considerate of Sadie's training needs and schedules.

I am pretty open to just about any dog, I would just appreciate knowing the temperaments, energy levels, and any special needs of the dog. I would not want to bring an aggressive dog to the dog park, rather a more quiet walk!
A typical day
Living in downtown Denver leaves me close to tons of great parks. Personally I love City Park and Cheesman Park because of their size and all of the spacious lawns. I myself go for regular jogs, and if your dog is fit enough I would love for them to join me! Of course slow paced walks are more suited for some elder dogs, and that is fine with me!
