Ever since I can remember, I’ve lived in a household with dogs. I’ve grown up with them and had my own and I absolutely adore them! I have experience with rescue dogs and dogs of a nervous nature. A few years ago, I rescued a Shih Tzu/Yorkie Cross from Hungary. She had moderate to severe separation anxiety and was overall quite a nervous dog on arrival. We embarked on a lot of training together and in time, she became a totally different dog! It took her a good year to fully decompress, but watching her progress and seeing the positive changes in her were so rewarding. More recently, I’ve started dog sitting for my friends and family and I enjoy it so much that I thought, why not cast the net a little wider and sign up to be a full time dog sitter for others!? I currently live in a 2 bedroom flat with my boyfriend in Tonbridge (also a dog lover!). I understand some this may not be ideal, however, I have lots of open, green space on my doorstep. I’m super laid back when it comes to dogs being allowed on furniture. If your dog is crate trained then great but otherwise, I’m happy to have them wherever they feel most comfortable. Ultimately, I want to make caring for your dog an enjoyable and positive experience for them.
