Pet care experience
I have had a dog since I was 10 years old and have always loved and cared for animals. I currently have a 3 year old Heeler mix, Bo! Over the years I've had dogs, rabbits, tortoises, cats, ferrets, hamsters, goldfish, rats and a flying squirrel. I've taken training courses, researched for my own knowledge and work with trainers and run my own pet care service, "I'm With Fur." I tend to work with a lot of reactive dogs so I have experience with that as well. I believe in a positive training approach where you praise and redirect instead of punish. My dog, Bo and I love friends and we would love to meet you! A meet & greet is *mandatory* before I can accept your pet. I just want to make sure everyone gets along! I live in a fenced community surrounded by quiet neighborhoods where I walk almost daily. I have experience in positive reinforcement training and it is the only training I use. We believe in praise and redirection! I have Pet Insurance, a vehicle and a place that's 100% dog friendly!

I will treat your furry friend as if it they were my own. Tons of love, patience, inclusion, fairness and redirection if necessary. I will respect any training you are working on and work with them while they are in my care. I use breaks often, have a baby gate and extra kennels if we need space and go on lots of walks. You will receive lots of pictures and updates and I will reach out with any questions or concerns! If I have to step away for anything, I have a camera where I can check in on the pets.

A typical day
My dog is very high energy so we are always looking for new things to do. There is an open field one block from where I live where Bo and I will play football. There are also quiet, nice neighborhoods near me that we walk, weather permitting. There are several river and hiking spots that we love. I have treat puzzle games, a bucket of toys and extra beds for all fur babies! It has been my experience that the dogs really like "Adventure Time," so we always have that on the TV.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule and run my own pet care business, "I'm With Fur." I do my best to keep my calendar as up to date as possible and match the Rover fees to what I would normally charge, given the percentage Rover claims. My dog and I usually walk once every 4 hours, weather permitting, since I can get away with it.
