Certified Veterinary Assistant <3

Pet care experience

I have worked in a veterinary hospital for over three years and as a veterinary assistant, as well as a kennel attendant in both a regular animal boarding facility and veterinary facility for over two years. Plus continual volunteer service at an animal shelter. I've also always had dogs in my home growing up and I have continued to have them in the household. I currently have two year old child, a pomeranian and a cat who all love other friendly furry friends - with the exception of the cat in the sense that he mostly just sleeps all day and isn't bothered one way or another by other animals! Between working in the Veterinary field and having pets of my own, these things combined have given me a lot of experience working with our beloved furry friends. And this includes all the different sizes and personalities they may come in or have (cats included)! I love working with animals and just being around them in general, which is why I continue to working with them as much as possible! Also due to working in a veterinary hospital for three years, I have gained a variety of experience with working with animals. I have been certified in my field for over three years and want to continue to grow in my passion for caring for animals. While working at the animal hospital and going through school for it I have not only learned how to better care for animals in general but am able to provide help for animals in need of things like medications and so forth as directed for clients loved ones that are of daily medications.

Nicole is GREAT with all animals! She's responsible, reliable, and is wonderful with pets. She connects with animals and I would trust her with any one of my "fur-kids".

Nicole took very good care of both dogs and kept me updated throughout their stay. Would book another reservation again in the future if needed.

I have had Nicole watch my two dogs about four ones a year when we go on our family vacations. We have a small chihuahua and and malamuate that have lots of energy and don't usually get along with new people, but they do great with nicole. My malamute gets insulin shots twice a day with a few other medications and it fantastic being able to have a sitter color table with administering the medications I need give to my dogs while I'm away that imway I don't have to worry. I also loved how she sends me daily pictures when I'm gone to see how my babies are doing! Overwall id use her anytime I go out of town an I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

I'm confident that my dog is in good hands whenever I leave her with Nicole! What impresses me most is that she has a very friendly and caring attitude, but can be stern when necessary. It's comforting to know that my pet is being watched by someone who will give her love and attention, without letting her run amok when I'm gone!

Information Nicole M. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences/breed restrictions, except for dog boarding since I do have a child and other pets in the house hold and I do have to apartment rules I unfortunately can't bend. I would like to know whether or not they are house broken, I don't mind if they aren't it just allows me to know if they need to be taken out more than most dogs. I also have hard wood floors so it's not an issue if I do have to clean up an accident. I would also like to know if they need any meds and what schedule you have them on so I can properly medicate at the appropriate times. I don't mind taking care of animals with medication needs or any other special needs due to my veterinary medical background.

A typical day

I live in town which means there are lot parks to go walking around in either a close walking range or some others along the water that are within a short driving distance that are fun to walk along! I also keep lots of tennis balls and toys in and around the house because I really enjoy playing fetch and tug-a-war with the pups outside to help get their daily exercise in!
