I'm that person that wants to say hello to all dogs! I have been a dog owner for 21 years of my life. I have personally raised five dogs from puppy to adulthood. I have done all tasks related to being a dog owner including but not limited to feeding, bathing, exercising, administering medicine, hospice... I am currently the owner of a rescue that just turned three years old that is very submissive and loves other dogs. I have volunteered at PAWS in Chicago and two different humane societies during my life. A few times a year, I watch pets for my friends and family while they are required to be away. This pet sitting has included having their pet(s) in my own home, as well as dropping by their house several times a day for their pet(s) care. The longest time I have watched a pet for another was 3 weeks. I have completed puppy training classes with my previous pets so I have a basic knowledge of identifying behaviors and redirecting as needed. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so my flexibility is very open. I am available for the following days/times: Monday, 9am to 4pm Tuesday, 9am to 4pm Wednesday, 9am to 4pm Thursday, 9am to 4pm Friday, 9am to 4pm Saturday, all day Sunday, all day * Availability during the week is subject to change due to my daughter's school schedule, but I am not anticipating an issue. As my eight year old daughter loves dogs, she could accompany me with walking or care needs as long as your pet is comfortable with younger children. In the case that your pet is not comfortable with younger children, I can arrange backup care for my daughter. * I could be available after 4pm during the week. I would need to either bring my daughter with me or organize alternative care for her in advance. I take tremendous care when first meeting a new dog to ensure we are familiar and that we can develop a comfortable relationship. I treat all animals that I have walked or cared for as my own, with affection and patience. I am full vaccinated and received my third booster shot for Covid - 19 in November of 2021. I truly just love dogs and am eager to support you and your family with your pet care and/or walking needs!!!
