Nicole is amazing! Our dogs love her and she is very sweet and accommodating. She helped me out tremendously when I needed a little extra help getting my dogs a walk in during a very busy time!

Nicole is wonderful and was great with our pup while I was out of town and my husband was at work. She sent updates and photos with each visit and made sure Squid was fed, watered, walked and had potty breaks! She was friendly, professional and did a meet and greet before our booking to make sure we were all comfortable. We will definitely use her again when we need someone to drop in on and walk Squid.

Walks and Drop-ins: My dog walks and drop-in home visits include lots of love, exercise, feeding, playtime, lights on/off, and more. I can take it slow & easy for mature pups or fast & strenuous for the active pups. Let me know what your pet requires, and we'll take it from there! I am a strong believer in consistency and letting your pet come to me rather than trying to force trust and affection. For cat visits, besides lots of love I will clean out the litter box, vacuum or sweep, top off food and water. Special requests are easily accommodated. Housesitting in your home: Housesitting is booked when you need me to stay in your home overnight with your sweet pet(s)! If you only need me for a few hours during the day, please book my drop-in service. I love what I do and have made it my full-time career! That being said, I have built a great pack of clients that I check in on and/or walk during the day and that means when I housesit, I am not staying in your home for 24 hours per day but can check in on your pet(s) every 6-8 hours during the day and of course, stay with them all night. If your pet requires more visits during the day as well as overnight and I have availability, you can book me for housesitting for overnight care and a couple drop-ins during the day if that is what your pet requires! My housesit fee includes 1 dog walk either in the morning or evening and all night overnight care. If it is gardening season, please ask me to tend your garden while you're away, I would love it! Also, my sweet daughter, Ava, 13, who absolutely loves all animals will also be accompanying me when I housesit (unless she opts to stay with her grandparents) Please let me know if this works for you and your pet(s). You can see pictures of Ava in my profile pictures. :) Setting the expectation early and being transparent is important to me. Please feel free to reach out so we can schedule a complimentary 30 min “Meet and Greet” to make sure your pet(s) feel comfortable with me and it’s a good fit for all!

Information Nicole L. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know: - your pet's daily routine - whether your pet has allergies or food restrictions - what treats may I share with your pet(s) - any commands that they know (sit, place, down, etc.) - are they afraid of/dislike anything (bikes, other dogs, etc.) - any special needs or require medication - do they have separation anxiety (if so, what’s helped them manage in the past?) - your pet’s favorite toys - any information that you believe would help your pet while you’re away or while I am walking your pet

A typical day

We can play fetch and explore all the intriguing smells in the neighborhood! We can also visit the local dog park if that’s your pet's jam or we can steer clear of other dogs and just play one on one! If we're close to my house, we can hike in the foothills near Camel's Back. For my hour-long dog walks, we will sometimes pop into Molly's Healthy Pet Food Market for a treat or the Co-Op pet store--I love spoiling my pack!

I’m a US Air Force veteran, a former organic farmer and a mother of two, so being of service to humans and animals alike comes naturally to me. Prioritizing trust building with pet parents and pets, and valuing safety and routine is what I am all about. I have lived with various animals nearly my entire life and caring for and loving them brings me so much fulfillment and joy which is why I have transitioned out of my government IT career into pet care full time!
