Nicole was one of 4 pet sitters we had who worked a schedule together over the 2 wks in June 2015 while we were gone on a cruise. Because we were gone so long and have so many pets, a complete schedule was set up according to the sitters' work schedules and the needs of our pets. The pets included both several indoor cats and 3 dogs who were not boarded for the duration. There were very specific chores, (many actually), which included letting dogs in/out of the run to play on our acre while she was there, feeding them, loving and playing with them. Feeding the many cats, cleaning litter boxes and spending quality time with them as well. Gathering mail, newspapers, watering outdoor plants and making sure the house was locked up when she left for the next person to come by to do the chores/caretaking. Not only did Nicole take care of the animals at our home, she is one of the wonderful employees who work at the boarding facility we used to board the rest of our dogs. So she worked daily with our other dogs while 'at work'. Never have I been gone for as long as I was this particular trip, it was a trip of a lifetime and a great deal of planning went into it. Since I am a bit of a worry wart.....it was not easy for me to go and leave my 'babies' behind. All of our animals are street rescues and several have fear and/or behavioral issues, so finding the right boarding facility and the right sitters were very difficult. The other 3 sitters were personal friends/co-workers, 2 of whom I have known for many years. All of whom I trust impeccably, also all care deeply for animals. I found out about Nicole through the boarding facility, as I needed a 4th person to fill in gaps in the schedule at our home. When I contacted her and found out she also loved cats.....it was a real plus !! No question I would use Nicole again to care for our beloved critters, she is a sweet person, reliable and since she works at a very special rescue facility where dogs are saved, rehabilitated and re-homed- a facility where boarding, grooming, training is also done, she has a lot of experience on a daily basis with all sorts of situations !

You're in great hands with Nicole! She is patient, professional and amazing with dogs of every size. It is also evident that she is well-versed in canine body language, and takes the time and care to make sure she accommodates every animals' personal needs. My wriggly little Chihuahua is normally shy around people, even those she is familiar with, but Nicole's natural compassion and gifts bring my girl out of her shell instantly. It gives me piece of mind as a paranoid Mommy to know I have an amazing person like Nicole caring for my pooches!

I would HIGHLY recommend Nicole as a dog sitter. As her current supervisor at a local dog rescue, she is one of my top employees who handles and works with dogs of varying temperaments, breeds, and ages on a daily basis. Nicole has also attended and completed several dog obedience courses and is planning to utilize her personal dog in our therapy dog program. Nicole's calm demeanor and loving approach with dogs is priority when working with dogs from unknown backgrounds as she does at our rescue. Not only is she great with dogs, but Nicole is very responsible, punctual, communicative, and flexible. She is a wonderful asset to our organization and is an amazing animal caretaker.
