I adore cats and pups of all walks of life and personalities :) I have experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sits through Rover, TrustedHousesitters, and local community connections. I was a cat foster through City Kitties DC and was so excited to see temporarily 🐈 friends find their new homes. I have also been the live-in aunt of the most fiercely independent but also cuddly cats, who have trained me on how to be the best servant to them 😉including feedings, litter box cleanings, and hygiene routines. I can watch cats and dogs together!

Pumpkin my cat keeps asking for Nicole! I know Pumpkin was both well cared for and had so much fun. It was clear Nicole created a really warm environment for my pet!
Nicole did a great job. Our dogs were well taken care of and we felt very comfortable giving her the key to our home to take care of our dogs. Very responsible and reliable.
My dog is very anxious and wary of people but she just loves Nicole. I don’t feel comfortable leaving my dog alone with very many people but I never have any concerns when I leave her with Nicole! She has a really great, calm and compassionate that I think dogs pick up on. She’s also a very trustworthy and hardworking person.
Can’t recommend Nicole enough! She took care of my pet while I was out of town several times and was the best petsitter I’ve had. She kept track of the feeding schedule, sent picture updates regularly, and just generally spent a lot of time hanging out with my very social pet. She genuinely loves animals, and that’s very evident with her pet sitting.

My first priority is always safety - making sure your pet remains in the spaces it is supposed to and getting the approved necessities it needs to flourish each day (food, water, exercise, walks/litter cleaning). Then comes the love and fun - using the approved toys and other supplies to ensure your pet feels loved and cared for! Communication is key - I will only act as a caregiver in ways we’ve discussed and immediately reach out with any concerns for your pet’s wellbeing.

I take the lead from pet parents on how to best engage their pet. I always love a nice walk around the neighborhood or outdoor play with dogs (and adventurous cats!) or indoor games with cats and dogs that need a little more TLC.

I’m currently a graduate student at UNC studying Public Health and have flexibility to ensure your pet’s safety and care. I have access to a car to get me to home visits and obtain any last minute resources needed for your pet’s care.
