Vet Tech for 10 yrs/Home Full Time!

Pet care experience

I have been a Veterinary Technician for over 10 years and have the flexibility to provide individualized care to each dog that comes into my home, depending on their specific needs. There is lots of stimulation and play with our resident dog and children. Dogs with medical needs? No worries!! I specialize in recovery, illness, medication administration, bandage care, dietary restrictions, etc...we as a family strive to provide an environment that is as close as possible to the dog's usual home life. Your dog sleeps in bed? We allow that here, as well. Your dog sleeps in a crate? That's where they will sleep while staying with us. I have recently transitioned to being home all day to raise my 2 and 3 year old daughters so your 4 legged family member(s) will never be left alone for longer than the time it may take to run some errands. This is a nice perk for those potty-training puppies or senior pets that may not be able to hold their bladders for more than a couple of hours.

Nicole was great for my dog Lily! Her and her kids played with Lily while we were away, and she kept us updated on how Lily was behaving with other dogs. She is very professional and very friendly! I’d highly recommend her to watch your dog while you are away because I was very satisfied with the job she did! Great working with you Nicole, and Lily can’t wait to see you again!

We had a wonderful experience using Nicole as our dog sitter. We have a Doberman that had an intestinal blockage and needed emergency surgery 3 days before a family vacation... the boarding place that we normally use wouldn't take her post-op so we were in a pickle. Nicole works as a vet tech at our current veterinary clinic and when she heard about our dilemma she offered to take her. This was a big deal because the post op care included no jumping, running etc along with a can food diet changing to a hard food diet gradually and administering medication. Not to mention keeping an eye on the incision and watching for signs of internal infection. Nicole went above and beyond for all of that plus she genuinely cares for dogs and she really knows what she's doing! We highly recommend Nicole!!! Your dog will be in the best hands you could ask for!

I have worked with Nicole as a veterinary technician for the past 10 years and can personally attest to her ability to care for animals with kindness and compassion. Nicole has cared for my own pets and I would recommend her to others as trustworthy and attentive. I never had to worry knowing that she would care for my pets as she would her own. I also feel that her career as a vet tech makes her the ideal person to care for dogs of all ages and stages of life as she has the knowledge and experience to handle medical or behavioral issues should they arise! Nicole has a real love for animals and I recommend her to anyone who wants a safe, loving place for their dog to stay.
