Pet care experience
I began working with dogs as a volunteer walker at my local shelter. Initially, I went to help them but I got so much in return. When I'm spending time with a dog everything else is forgotten except the joy of giving and receiving happiness. The exercise is great too! I can absolutely keep up with your high energy pup and you can be sure that they will have my full attention! I'm new to Rover but I've been professionally pet sitting for a little over three years now and I've successfully worked with dogs of every size and temperment. I actually enjoy working with the more challenging personalities but I love the happy go lucky ones too. I'll care for your pup like the family that they are. Love, scratches, and praise are a part of every visit!
Reviews
Nicole was such a pleasure to work with and my puppy loved her! Couldn’t recommend her more!
Wonderful service.
Juno loves seeing Nicole and is always so nice and calm when I get home after having gone on a good walk. Great communication and I know my pup is always safe and taken care of in Nicole’s hands ☺️
Wonderful experience thanks so much for your help!

Safety, trust & environment
To ensure the safety of your companion, and your home I always use great care when entering and exiting to prevent escape attempts, and also to make sure that doors are locked. I'll check gates before allowing your pup into the yard, and I'll double, even triple check harnesses, collars, and leashes to makes sure they are secure, and in good repair. While out walking my eyes will be on the pup, and our surroundings. I will never introduce outside toys or chew items. Last but not least, I will not allow other humans or animals around your pup while in my care. Your trust and their safety is my top priority!
Information Nicole H. would like to know about your pet
I have absolutely no breed preferences! Big ones, little ones, doesn't matter, I love them all. I will need to know any dietary restrictions, allergies, behavior triggers or special needs in general. Do I need to look out for chewing or are you still house breaking? Does your pup have any fears or aggressive triggers? For example other pups, bicycles, joggers etc.. Are you doing any training you would like me to reinforce? Also, are there any areas your companion does not like to be touched? The more information I have the better!
A typical day
I'm available for Drop-In's, Dog Walking and House Sitting. My Drop-in's mainly serve Kitties, and Pups who prefer a romp in the yard to a leashed walk, but I'm happy to care for Fish, Reptiles, or Small Mammals too. Drop-In's include potty time, treats, tons of love, and indoor, or yard play. I'll provide fresh food, fresh water, and clean cages, or litter boxes. If your companion needs medicine or your home needs care such as watering plants, taking in the mail, turning on lights, or anything else of that nature I'm happy to do it! If you prefer your pup goes out on leash you'll want to schedule a Dog Walk. All walks start with warm greetings and lots of scratches, then we are out the door for a 30 minute walk, full of praise. I can use is time for training reinforcement, but only if requested. When we return home there will be fresh water, treats, and even more scratches and praise! My House Sittings are designed for those needing overnight care. They generally start around dinner time 5pm, and run through breakfast around 9am, but I will make adjustments if needed. Overnight's include a 30 minute walk and as many potty breaks as desired. I like to get the pups out between every 2 to 4 hours. Of course I'll shower your pup with tons of affection, and there will be lots of time for play! They will receive fresh water, fresh food, treats, home care, and I can dispense medication if needed. All of my services include photos and a short written report. In the case of overnights you will receive multiple reports with photos. I know how scary it can be to entrust your home and your companion to someone new. I've experienced it first hand. I'll do everything I can to alleviate your worries so you can enjoy your time away!

Availability
Companion care is all I do. My whole day revolves around caring for animals. I'm available for Drop-In's, and Walks from 9am until 9pm, and House Sitting from 5pm until 9am, seven days a week. The best time to reach me is late afternoon and early evening. I usually have my hands free during those hours. Of course if your pup is in my care you can reach me at any time!
