I volunteer with Nicole and she is a patient and gentle caregiver with animals. She is thoughtful and kind and always follows up with the cats and dogs in her care to check on their well being. Any dog owner would find that she has wonderful communication skills and will make their pet feel safe, happy and loved.

Nicole has volunteered with the MSPCA Adoption Center since the beginning of 2012 and in her time here has been an incredible asset not only to the staff, but most especially to the animals. She is involved with many aspects of the work we do-- She volunteers with our cats, is an active member of our Animal Advocacy team, represents the MSPCA at various events and is a wonderful and trusted foster parent to sick and scared shelter animals. Nicole is also one of our upper-level dog volunteers here at the shelter. This means she has gone through extensive training focused on positive behavior modification, enabling her to work with stronger and more behaviorally challenging dogs here. On top of her dedication to the important work we do, Nicole is a lovely and kind person. She is always upbeat, friendly and eager to learn new ways to help our animals. Be it gathering signatures for important animal protection legislation, walking dogs and cleaning litter boxes, or taking home feral kittens for socialization, Nicole is a great friend to us and an invaluable member of our team. I know that she would be a invaluable member of the Rover team as well!
