All of my life I have always had lots of furbabies!! I am the type of person who gets ridiculously excited to be in the same room as a dog. Growing up my family always had at least 2 dogs (not including: horses, lizards, hamsters, birds, etc). Since my last dog, Xena, passed away at the old age of 15 I have been going through doggy withdrawals, so this seemed like the perfect solution! I am devoted to establishing a safe and fun haven for animals within my home. I believe it is essential to give each animal special care and attention they require in order to flourish. As a Rover sitter/ walker, I would be overjoyed and honored to be able to provide exceptional care for your dog! I have over 10 years experience working on a farm and I am experienced with training many types of animals. I am not intimidated by large dogs (in fact I love them!) because I grew up with shepherds and dobermans running around the house. My apartment is spacious and is located within walking distance of parks and a 5 minute drive from the Fells Reservation; With this ideal location I would be able to provide long walks with lots of playtime to assure that your furbaby enjoys his/her stay. I am also a medical professional and have no problem taking care of older dogs, administering oral medications, or helping out with wound care. I do have 2 cats (actually one thinks he's a dog) so your dog must be able to cohabitate with other animals. I can keep the cats isolated in another area of the apartment for short stays if it's preferred.
