Social worker w/ petcare superpower
Pet care experience
I'm beginning the process of becoming a social worker and need to make a little extra money while I get started. I fostered dogs and cats through Best Friends Animal Society for 5 years, and am known to help anxious animals calm down because I am very patient. I eventually adopted my own pet, a cat who thinks he is a dog, through the foster service. Having volunteered with Best Friends in NYC, you never know what the animal you're working with is going to need. I'm very adaptable and can even administer most medications. Trusting another person to care for your best friend is stressful. I have used Rover as a pet owner as well and know that the photos and detailed updates sent can really make it easier. I'd love to help you out!
Reviews
Nicole was amazing! She took great care of our pets while staying at our house and provided very detailed updates while we were away. We felt very comfortable our pets were in good hands the whole time!
This was the second time we've book with Nicole - she is kind, attentive, and communicative. We were out of the country and she kept us updated the whole time. She's lovely.
Nicole is amazing! She provided very detailed updates and lots of daily photos while I was out of town. I cannot recommend Nicole enough
Nicole is a great and caring sitter! My dog did not make things easy for her (super energetic and getting into things he shouldn’t have), but she took it all in stride. She updated me with a thorough review and pictures twice a day.

In your home, I will ask detailed questions on what is allowed and your personal preferences. Leaving a pet behind is stressful and you want to know that there will be very little disruption in their routine. Because of my personal pets, I don't do visits to my home. I wouldn't want anyone to be uncomfortable with stranger pets.
Information Nicole G. would like to know about your pet
Does the dog have any medical needs? Any history of aggression that I should be aware of? What are the dietary restrictions and daily schedule?
A typical day
For dogs - we'll go on a walk around the neighborhood, and play at home. I tend to avoid dog parks as a sitter. Too many unknowns. For cats - if the cat is feeling social then we'll play at home with a toy or sit down for some pets.

Availability
I'm currently in school part-time. Which leaves me plenty of time to devote to your petcare! Looking to fill my time and pockets using Rover.
