I’ve lived around animals my whole life, from family pets (cats, dogs, birds) to livestock and farm animals (ie. goats, sheep and chickens). I have volunteered at the SB Humane Society as a cat and canine companion and am currently raising, training and grooming a pup of my own that just turned 1 year old! I also have experience caring for pets with extra medical needs (ie. post surgery, walking assistance, medications). At a client's home or on a walk, I prioritize maintaining pet safety and keeping the pet below threshold in potentially stressful situations. I can provide enrichment such as training, puzzles, exercise and other forms of active engagement. As a fellow pet owner/lover, I prioritize safety and proper pet care above all, while aiming for happy and fulfilled pets at the same time. I currently work full time from approximately 8-5pm on weekdays, and the majority of that time is remote. I am available for short-drop in's most days during the workday and can accommodate longer walks and/or visits in the evenings and weekends. I live in a dog-friendly apartment with a fenced in patio and a very friendly puppy to keep your dog entertained. In a client's home, I stay actively engaged with your pet to ensure their comfort and safety during the visit. I make a rule of setting up a Meet and Greet so I can discuss safety needs in each client's home and ensure I am aware of any specific stressors for each pet so I am better able to maintain a calm, fun and safe environment for each pet.
