I grew up in a family full of pets, most especially dogs. I have tons of experience raising and training puppies and dogs; my childhood dog had multiple litters of puppies in a safe area I set up for her in my room, I even helped her birth and care for them in some instances. It was almost exclusively my responsibility to care for them and I loved every minute of it. Dogs are like family to me. I have also taken care of several of my neighbor's and friend's dogs over the years as well. I grew up in a semi-rural area and have had several experiences of rescuing dogs from the side of the road and finding their owners or homes for them if they were strays. I even adopted one myself and it turned out he was half coyote! It was a challenge to train him, but he was a truly incredible dog who just needed some special care and attention, which I was happy and grateful to provide. He's the one in my pictures with the heterochromia. I love taking dogs for walks and/or hikes and watching how excited they are about the environment. I have always gravitated towards animals and get along very well with them. I studied Ecology in college and have a deep appreciation for nature and animals.
