Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals since I was 10 years old. Growing up in the countryside of England, it was my duty to care for pets. I’ve always loved animals and couldn’t imagine doing any job that didn’t involve the care of animals so I became a Vet Tech. I love my job and it has given me lots of experience with dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, special needs pets and administering medications whether it be injectable or orally. I know how to perform CPR on animals and what signs to look for if dogs or cats come into contact with poisonous plants and foods. I know how to handle various special needs and illnesses.

Nicole has been an awesome petsitter to my two dogs Lana and Cooper. She goes above and beyond to make sure that they get their exercise, and pays attention to detail when it comes to any special requests. She is always available and responsive to any questions that you may have, including switching up the walking route/her availability. My dogs absolutely love her, and it’s a plus that she has veterinary experience! Grateful to have found someone so responsible who truly loves animals.

A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs for walks no matter how short or long. Ensuring dogs get physical exercise as well as mentally stimulated from sniffing the neighbourhood is key to a happy dog! I enjoy performing basic training with dogs too.

Availability
I am available to walk dogs and do drop-in home visits for any pet. I usually work afternoons so I am able to provide drop in visits in the mornings and late evenings/nighttime. I am free on weekends also.
