Hi there! My name is Nicole, my partner is Dennis, and we love hosting pets in our one story home! We have one shy cat we call Pia and two senior dogs Wormie and KK. We stick to a pretty regular routine most days (which is a must to manage KK’s diabetes), and in between meals and potty breaks Wormie likes to play neighborhood watch at the big bay window while KK prefers lounging wherever I am working in the house- for pets who have trouble jumping/climbing like our KK does because of his arthritis, know that we do not have stairs in the house and we like to keep cozy pet beds in almost every room for ground level comfort. We also have another bay window overlooking the backyard that is a favorite bird watching spot for our Pia. I have lived with and worked with many, many cats and dogs as a sitter, shelter worker, volunteer, and dog bather that I have almost surely seen it all! My eye is trained to notice even the smallest behavioral or medical changes, so you can rest assured you are leaving your trust in good hands. Our home has PLENTY of room for doggos to run around, and still has lots of space for our cat to find some peace and quiet too! We prefer exploring local parks and the neighborhood for daily exercise, and we like to spend a lot of time in the yard too (which is always supervised!) I am home for four day weekends Friday-Monday, and am available before 11am and after 4pm Tuesday-Thursday. This allows me ample time for things like senior care (which is close to my heart), attending to special needs such as oral/injectable medication administration, assisted potty breaks and/or diaper changes, and- of course- playtime! Feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like- dogs especially are often more comfortable with having their own space that is familiar to them. Otherwise, the dogs pretty much run the house! *Please note we have recently increased our rates to still offer affordable boarding while staying competitively priced. The new rates will allow me to be more available for the animals in our care Friday-Monday as well as offset some of the costs of cleaning supplies, treats, replacing worn/damaged toys, bowls/bags, etc. We will also now be able to offer cat care! We can provide sanitized guest litter boxes- no need to BYOB! Please feel free to inquire about additional services you may not see listed- we are happy to accommodate requests when possible! **Also, please know we do not ban large breeds from our home- we truly love all shapes and sizes and breeds- but we unfortunately must be more selective now with providing care for larger breeds after an accidental hand injury almost prevented me from returning to work as a massage therapist. We simply want to trust your dog has been well trained and clients we work with are responsible dog owners! MONDAY-FRIDAY 7-7:30am Potty/breakfast Walk before 11am Potty/Lunch: varies depending on activities 2nd walk after 4pm Dinner 7:30pm Potty *additional potty breaks as needed and treats throughout day WEEKENDS: Mealtimes remain the same at 7:30am and 7:30pm with midday lunch. Weather permitted, our walks are typically at one of the local parks instead of around the neighborhood (we love going to see the water at Neshaminy Park, and walking the winding hills at Tyler!) We aim to take two daily walks and three meals a day, plus plenty of time to play and relax! We like to care for our guests the same way we care for our own pets, with modifications to keep everyone happy, of course, because we know different dogs need different things!
