Pet care experience
Growing up, I wanted to be a vet so badly. My empathic heart couldn’t carry through with that profession so now I just love spending my time with animals as much as possible. I have a PhD in human psychology and I like to think that that applies to my ability to understand animals as well. When I am taking care of your pet I want them to experience the least amount of change as possible so I am willing to keep their usual routine as unchanged as possible. I have experience with special needs animals and am comfortable wrangling a puller on a walk. I’m confident reengaging a reactive dog during walks or content dogs who need encouragement to finish their walk. I’m really excited to spend time with your fur baby!

Nicole helped us out in a pinch to take care of our pup and kitty, and she absolutely hit the ground running! Though our cat is a little bit of a recluse when it comes to strangers, and only comes out to eat, our dog makes up for that with her energy, anxiety, and herding tendencies. Nicole has familiarity with these types of dogs, and that's why we selected her to help, and she proved it with our dog! Nicole was very prompt in communication, respectful of our space, and very willing to go above and beyond with our dog, providing all the cuddles! We'd love to hire Nicole again for our needs, and recommend her to anyone with an anxious pup like ours!
Nicole has been awesome! I’ve been having her walk my dogs since I had shoulder surgery and can’t do it myself. She is always on time and friendly. She seems to really enjoy walking them and is interested in getting to know their personalities. I will continue to have Nicole as a dog walker. She is great!

My apartment is puppy proofed and I have a medium dog size crate if you need. I am happy to take in any safety items you also prefer to drop off. For your home, I am flexible and absolutely responsive to any needs you have for safety and your home.

I would like to know your dog's preferences for where they sleep, how they like to be touched, and if they have any quirks that bother them. For me, all you need to know about me ahead of time is that I will be flexible and attentive to you and your fur baby's needs.
A typical day
I am a pretty active person so I love being outside and I am not afraid to get dirty or wet in the rain. I can respond to whatever level of energy your dog has from a slower more docile senior to an active puppy. I tend to take long walks with my dogs three times a day and if needed from the activity level of your dog I can bike with them. I love going to the dog park if your dog's temperament calls for it.
