Pet care experience
I have been the primary caregiver for my family's pets since I was young. As a teen, my first pets were large dogs, and I provided most of the care for them, including food, bathroom breaks, walks, administering medicine, playing ball, playing with toys, lots of pets. Since I no longer have dogs at home, I thoroughly enjoy my time with dogs while pet setting. As an adult, I have primarily had cats (3 different pairs of bonded cats over the years). My cats are quite active, we play with tunnels, lasers, fishing pole toys, and even fetch on a daily basis. I pay special attention to the personality of each cat, adapting to both reserved and very social cats.

Nicole is incredibly patient, kind, and conscientious. My dog Harmon absolutely adores and trusts Nicole (and he doesn't trust everyone). I always appreciate when Nicole watches Harmon when I'm out of town because I receive consistent updates and photos. This eases my mind and I know if anything happens, Nicole has a good sense of how to react and the best steps forward. I cannot recommend Nicole enough for any pet sitting needs!
We love Nicole! She is kind and compassionate and so great with our animals! She is also punctual and responsible, everything you would need in a pet sitter!

A typical day
I want to make sure that your pet gets plenty of exercise and stimulation. I am eager to take dogs on a long walk to explore the neighborhood and to play catch or play with chew toys. I have a lot of experience keeping cats engaged with tunnels, or toy mice. I will make sure your pet gets some downtime as well before I leave, including pets or cuddles, if they enjoy that.

I am an educator, and I typically work during the academic year. I will have full availability in June and the first part of July to care for your pets!
