Pet care experience
I have been around animals my entire life and I have been taking care of dogs for the past 8 years. From house sitting, trail walking, or just dropping in to check on the dogs while there parents are at work, I have done it all. I have also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility as a kennel attendant so I am trained in keeping up with feeding schedules and bathroom schedules. If you would like I am also able to bath your furr baby for you so they are all clean when you arrive home. I am from Florida and just recently moved to Greensboro, North Carolina. One of my favorite parts are all the walking trails we have so close and I would love for your furr baby to accompany me on a walk.
Reviews
Nicole is one of the few people I trust to when it comes to taking care of my 80lb German shepherd. Kleo was instantly attached to Nicole with her gentle manner and love for animals. Would recommend, 10/10
Every time I needed a sitter, even last minute, Nicole never let me down. Cal Cal loved Nicole and couldn’t wait to see her for her next visit!

I have a one year old Husky named Alaska. We wake up every morning and we spend some time outside stretching our legs and then she gets breakfast with an enrichment toy. I prefer going on walks and doing my more active activities early in the day so I have a few trails within walking distance from my apartment I like to take Alaska on. Having such an active dog we take our walk to also train on basic commands and socializing her to new experiences. I know every family has their own routine and I am more than adaptable to anything that works best.
Information Nicole D. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what your dog is like on a leash. Whether they pull, bark, or lunge at people. I also would like to know how long of a walk your dog is used to and what the limits on distance they will be able to handle. Knowing your dogs specific basic command words also helpS. For example, does your dog know paw or shake? Will he shake both paws? Does your dog know more tricks than the ones listed? If I am dropping in on your pet please let me know the best way to enter where they will feel comfortable and if I am needing to feed them please let me know how much and if they need any accommodations to being fed.
A typical day
On days I work I typically wake up around 5am and take the dogs outside before I feed them. I am able to take my husky go work with me but on days I don’t she gets her brain games. I live close so I am able to check on the dogs during breaks and directly after I get off. After work or on days I am off I love to go to places with beautiful scenery. During walks I enjoy bonding with the dog. I love to see what they like and are curious about. I also love working on the basic commands like sit, stay, paw/shake, down, and up. During walks this helps make for a more stimulating walk. If you allow I also have a belt with a pouch for treats to help with the commands.

I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to have a lot of time to spend with not only my dog but others as well. I also am very active and I love being out doors and going for adventures. I feel it is important for dogs to be socialized to all kinds of environments and this also makes the walk more enriching for them as well. I am big on schedules and can mostly adjust my schedule to fit anything my clients need.
