Dog laughter is a wagging tail

Pet care experience

I enjoy making your dog happy with lots of walks, play and snuggle time while your away. Should you wish, I can send you daily texts/videos. My experience is mainly with small breed dogs, puppies, adult and senior care needs (Shih Tzus, mutt mixes, Frenchies, Terriers, Pugs, and Bulldogs). I grew up on a ranch so am comfortable being both friendly but firm with animals, utilizing positive reinforcement and redirection to elicit wanted behaviors. My husband and I are raising a balanced, friendly Boston Terrier (17 lb spayed female) who is E-collar trained and follows a routine schedule that we would have your dog mirror if they don’t arrive with their own scheduled needs. I am experienced feeding raw and/or gently home cooked meals. I take pet safety very seriously, knowing the signs of heat stroke and heat related illness prevention, winter safety having lived in New England, know dog CPR, do not take clients to off leash dog parks and give them a relaxing bath prior to returning home. They will be loved and pampered like our own pup. You will be required to leave an emergency contact for your dog, veterinary information, and list any allergies or behaviors that warrant attention. Proof of being current with recommended vaccinations required prior to our initial meet and booking confirmation. References of families I have dog sat for are available upon request. I had many repeat clients in Connecticut building a beautiful relationship with their dog and hope to do the same with yours. Learn more about our Boston Terrier on Instagram @Senorita_Binx My schedule is flexible as I work from home when not leading conservation themed yoga hikes or yoga retreats. I require an initial day play visit (no charge) so your dog can become familiar with my home, my dog, and I to his/her personality before an overnight stay. My bostie's schedule is one your dog would mirror if you do not provide a specific one for me to follow. 6 am: Pre-breakfast pee, dogs out of crate Breakfast - supervised living room lounging 7:15 am - 8 am: Morning walk Place / Calm state of mind time (30 min for my dog) Supervised living room/balcony lounging/outing if permitted by owner (ex: Target/Mall/Air Conditioned indoor dog-friendly space) 12 pm: Quick 5 minute mid-day pee break sticking to shaded grassy areas Supervised living room lounging, structured scent work + enrichment play time with indoor agility 5 pm: quick 5 minute pre-dinner pee break sticking to shaded grassy areas Dinner + living room lounging + Benebone chew time 7:30 - 8:15 pm: pre-bedtime elimination walk, dogs in crate for the night Please see schedule above. Your dog must be crate trained as I will not be able to supervise them when I leave for work or to run errands. Puppies + adopted dogs learning crate training are welcome as I have experience in crate training. We live in a second floor walk up apartment, no elevator, so this is not a good fit for dogs with mobility challenges. Please message me if your pet has special needs or weighs less than 20 lbs, I can probably accommodate by carrying them.

Could not have been better! Our vacation was Reggie’s as well. With Nicole’s frequent communications it was very apparent he was enjoying himself. We would highly recommend Nicole.

Nicole was very responsive to all of my messages. She is friendly, funny and extremely kind and loving to dogs. During my dog's stay with Nicole I was updated frequently with text messages and videos. I told Nicole that my dog looked like he was having so much fun with her I was afraid he wouldn't want to come home!! I will definitely use Nicole again in the future to pet sit my dog. Love, love, love her!!!

We had a wonderful 1 night stay with Nicole. Nicole was incredibly flexible with timing, and she provided frequent pictures and videos of my pet during her stay. We'll be staying with Nicole again!

We had Nicole care for our two lab mixes (who can at times be a handful) and they loved her! We could tell she had a lot of experience with dogs (she even brought the boys special treats) and we know our dogs were well cared for. We highly recommend Nicole and will definitely be having her back next time we go out of town!

Routine details are a must. What key words do you use to communicate food time, bathroom, play and bedtime? I'd love to stick to the language they are used to and any training commands you already employ. Allergies and behavior quirks must be communicated for their and our safety. Temperament restrictions: No aggressive behaviors Must be crate trained and house trained to use the great outdoors as their bathroom, not chew furniture/shoes (exceptions for a puppy <1 year and senior dogs who need pee pads).
