Cuddles and Belly Rubs Expert!

Pet care experience

I am 25 years old and currently going back to school to pursue my Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Sonography. I have lots of experience with dogs, I have a yellow lab. Her name is Sonny, named after my late grandfather. She has lots of energy to keep me entertained. Don't worry, she is fully vaccinated! I've raised her since she was a puppy of 10 weeks so I understand the importance of love and care of pets! I enjoy getting outside and exploring so why not share this hobby of mine with your fur baby so they can get some exercise during the day as well! When house sitting or watching dogs for the day I like to make sure that they stay well entertained, playing with their toys, playing fetch and running around. Dogs are meant to run and exert their energy just as much as they need their rest. I believe that an active dog is a healthy dog! Please let me know if you would like some assistance with yours and I'd be happy to help!

Nicole is the best! She takes her responsibilities seriously, loves her pet and takes excellent care of others. She is responsible, timely in her communications, and trustworthy. She is also thoughtful, sweet, and loves animals. I can't say enough about how great she is and would highly recommend her to others.

Information Nicole D. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know if the dog has any allergies. My lab had a lot of skin issues when she was a puppy so understanding things such as how to eliminate irritations is important in such cases! How much water the dog typically consumes. This is helpful when returning from walks to understand the typical hydration that the dog is used to in order to ensure that the dog is behaving as normal after a long walk or playing. Characteristics of the dog, does he/she tend to have a lot of energy, average, low. How they act around strangers (my lab barks at tall men...but loves them soon after). How they act around children. Are they leash trained. Things that are good to know when going on a walk.

A typical day

Depending on the area in which you live, I like to go on walks in calm, low traffic (if any at all) areas. Trails and parks are my personal favorites. I like to make sure that the dog is comfortable with the area as well, this makes the experience much more enjoyable for them! Other activities that I like to do with the dogs include, playing fetch and allowing them to run around and exert lots of energy; playing with their toys, some dogs enjoy playing tug-of-war with their toys (some owners dislike this habit, which I understand).
