Let us help put your mind at ease!

Pet care experience

We decided to offer our services to Rover after we lost our two 15-year-old dogs to old age. One a 65lb husky, the other a chihuahua mix. Talk about different sizes and personalities 🤣 We are a physically active couple with work-from-home jobs. We are well-versed in training, medicine administration, and providing the love and cuddles that your fur baby may need. My wife and I remember what it was like looking for someone to board our two old men. They were our world. Our children. It was hard to trust anyone with their care. Especially as they got older. We know that feeling. And we want you to feel safe and comfortable with us. We are constant communicators. You’ll have our numbers and be encouraged to call. We will text you photo updates and videos - because that’s what we would want as pet owners. We want to build a bond with your pack, so we encourage questions and discussion. We want to know the ins and outs of your pupper. Over the years, we have had the honor of hosting a variety of shapes, sizes, ages, and needs in our home. Dare I say, we are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and neighbors. Check out our photo gallery to see some of our furry friends and the shenanigans we get up to!

My usual suspects of care were all going on their well deserved vacays when I needed to see world famous phish vegas show but the sphere is not dog friendly and nekari doesn’t really dig their music anyhow as she’s more of a 90s r&b fan. This sent me apprehensively to the rover app. But I’m so glad I did! This family (house pup Artie included) welcomed my gal in with open arms and understood all her secret languages by the end of the week. She’s a senior lady and needs to be comfortable they even lugged her ortho bed around and basically gave her the life I know nekari dreams about as someone is practically home all the time or she got to tag along and meet cows at a farm. I was update almost daily with photos and video. Some included significant questions about her likes and quirks if this were normal or if things could be done differently?! So sweet. With plenty of walks and dog park adventures nekari put herself upstairs to bed her first night home and then I knew she had a good time. And not the over exhaustive good time leaving her ragged and limpy just fully cared for and this so appreciated as my girl deserves the best in her Golden Girl era. I recommend this home for anyone in bend needing it but I got dibs on phish tour dates 😘. Nekari approved, will book again!

Great experience. Took extra time to get to know our dog, Mary. First, by phone, then when we dropped Mary off. Lots of communication, pics, and videos. We knew our dog was in great hands when we left. We will def recommend and use Nicole and Caitlin again.

Nicole and Caitlin were attentive and engaged while watching Donut. It gave me incredible peace of mind knowing that he was in a caring home while we were out of town. He was happy and well taken care of. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing quality dog care!

We have a small home in Bend (1000 sqft), but access to endless outdoor spaces and a sizable fenced-in backyard. We have a 1.5-year-old female dog that gets along with every human and every animal she meets. She is a beta and she would love to keep your fur baby company or leave them alone to lay on the couch. She’s very good at taking cues from the dogs around her and is incredibly well-trained. We understand that each dog is different. Some dogs love stimulation and constant attention, while others need a little space. Some dogs love playing with others at the park, some prefer to stay leashed and maintain structure with their humans. We are equipped to cater to the needs of YOUR fur baby(ies). We want you to know that your kiddo is safe with us and we plan to love them and take them into our pack while you are away.

Information Nicole & Caitlin T. would like to know about your pet

We want to know everything you can offer about your fur baby. It's our goal to treat them exactly as you would and give them everything they are used to receiving from you. If your pupper has any special needs (medicines, favorite toy, likes to be swattled in a blank a certain way, has an injury that needs tending) we are willing and able to accommodate.

A typical day

Some of our favorite activities are: ~ Walks around the neighborhood ~ Hikes at off-leash dog runs (good dog park) ~ Fenced dog Parks (Pine Nursery) ~ Leashed Runs ~ Couch Cuddles ~ Treat Based brain games ~ Daily 5 minute training We adapt our activity level to the mental and physical needs of the dogs we care for. Artie is always up for anything. But we will easily accommodate if your dog needs a little more rest and quiet time. Artie knows when to give another dog space.

My wife and I own our own business. Often we work from home other times one of us may need to leave for four hours at a time. Cait is a Paramedic and Ropes Rescue Technician. Nik runs the digital and financial end of the business: writing contracts and being a computer nerd. This leaves us plenty of time to schedule walks, runs in the forest, and interacting with other dogs (if that’s your preference). We will schedule the needs of your fur baby(ies) around our own.
