Hi there! My name is Nicole, I am 28 years old and am the Auntie to all my friends and family members dogs! I have years of experience both dog sitting, walking, and even taking pooches on runs around the neighborhood. I have dog-sat and walked every variety of pooch. From old to young, and big to small. I grew up with big, energetic hound dogs as a kid, so I understand the importance of dogs getting their necessary exercise in each day. The only reason I do not have my own is because at this stage of my life, I don't have time every day of the week to give a pooch their needed time running around, which is why dog walking a couple times a week is the perfect fit! I currently work full time from home, and am able to dog walk in the early morning, lunch time, or after work hours. I have a vehicle that fits dogs so it is easy for me to drive to parks or your home. I love going for runs and exercising in my neighborhood, and would love having a pooch alongside for these walks and runs. I live in a duplex, that has a fenced in backyard with a reasonable amount of green space for a bit of running around and wrestling! Our house is always very clean, and is also puppy proof.

My boyfriend of 6 years and I live in a duplex with a fenced in backyard! My living room faces the backyard, so it’s easy for me to keep an eye on them while they’re using the bathroom in the backyard. We have a security system we set at night time so no intruders are getting in! I keep my home clean and organized so that it’s a peaceful and have a set spot where I keep your pups food and if they have any, their medication. So that it’s always in the same place and easy to keep track of.

Ahead of time, I like to know if there are any training skills you are working on with your dog (tugging on leashes, recall etc.) If you let me know ahead of time, I will continue to work on the training during our walk. I also need to know if your dog plays well with others, is allowed in off-leash parks, if they are spayed/neutered, and if they have any health implications I should be aware of.
A typical day
I love running around and playing with the dogs in my care. I love a good game of fetch, tag, and seeing dogs play with other dogs in the park. I grew up in the South West of Calgary, so I know all the best dog parks. There is a fenced in dog park just 6 blocks from my home that I like walking to. If your dog is able to go off leash, I love taking dogs to River Park. Which, in my opinion, is the best and biggest off-leash dog park in the South West! At dog parks, I am always on my toes to intervene if dogs are feeling overwhelmed, or aren't playing well with another dog in the park as well.

Availability
I work from home Wed-Fri and drive home at lunch on Mon-Tues to check in on my furry friends! I make sure your little friends are never anxious and filled with love and a feeling of security. I also live with my boyfriend of 6 years who adores dogs as well! Who loves to play with pups and give them lots of snuggles as well.
