Pet care experience
I have grown up with animals and absolutely love them. I am always my friend’s and family’s go-to pet sitter when they are in a bind or out of town! I have two kittens and a dog that I live with. My pets are a part of my family so I understand that others feel the same about their animals and want the best care possible.

Nicole is a true animal lover. Her desire to care for all animals is unique and unmatched. She has been caring for and watching my chocolate lab for almost 2 years now. I am very cautious of making sure my own and others pets are safe. Animals can be sneaky and it’s important for me to pay attention at all times and be aware when I’m caring for pets! I know how I feel when I need to trust someone else watching my pet so I am more than happy to accommodate you in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident in allowing me to care for your pet.

I do have experience with dogs that take medication. My dog takes a pill every morning herself! I also have experience with older pets. I am patient and willing to learn if you have a pet with unique needs! All animals have their own personality quirks and needs so being honest about that up front is greatly appreciated and I am more than happy to accommodate as needed.
A typical day
I work full time and from home so I love an excuse to get out of the house. Im lucky to have a flexible work schedule that allows me to take breaks throughout the day. I try to walk at least an hour each day and I also run most days of the week as well. Loose park and Shawnee Mission dog park are some of my favorite places to take furry friends. I’m also happy to just throw a ball around in the backyard or sit on the couch and serve as a companion! I love dogs and their high energy but I’m also a true cat lover at heart. On my walks around the neighborhood, there is not a cat that I see that I won’t at least ~try~ to summon over and pet.

Availability
I work from home Monday - Friday and would love an excuse to get out of the house. Whether that is checking on your kitty or taking your dog for a walk, I’m in. I spend most weekends in Kansas City and live in a pretty central area making it easy to get around to the neighboring towns! I volunteer with Kansas City Pet Project and I am looking for additional opportunities to care for animals. I have lots of free time and would love to spend it getting to know your pet!
