Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover and I have been the go-to person for my friends and family's pets for years. I'm a very engaged dog walker/sitter and I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I'm also very interested in canine behavior/training and used to volunteer at an animal shelter where I learned a lot of skills and positive reinforcement techniques.
Reviews
We had a great experience with Nicole. She met up with us early and was really open and attentive to our pup's specific behaviors and needs. Nicole was awesome about meeting Rhu in the middle and giving her some time to warm up. I felt really confident leaving Rhu with Nicole for the weekend and would definitely have her dog sit again.
Nicole is excellent with our two little dogs. The little guy takes a long time to warm up, but she has been patient through the journey and now they look like great friends in the photos/videos she's shared. I know they are in great hands with Nicole because when I get home, they act as if I haven't been gone at all.
Nicole is amazing - she won over and managed our chaotic pup and oftentimes aloof older cat for several days.
Our dogs loved Nicole! We will definitely use her again for our next trips if she is available!!!!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup's health and safety are my top priority along with providing them with a great experience! My approach with all animals is to let them get comfortable and build trust at their own pace. Sometimes this happens quickly but other times it takes a little longer and that's ok! From my own experience having an anxious dog, I understand how stressful new people or situations can be for them, so I always aim to be a calm, reassuring presence. I never leave a dog unsupervised outside and like to take frequent walks with the dogs I watch to build rapport. Safety is paramount for me, especially on walks. I'm very aware of our surroundings and I do my best to avoid any potential triggers. As a general rule, I want to set them up for success and avoid greeting other dogs on-leash or new people unless instructed otherwise.
Information Nicole C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about a little about their personality, if they have any reactivity and/or specific triggers on walks, and if there are any important food restrictions or allergies I should be aware of. Also, let me know about their favorite activities or toys!
A typical day
I think it's important to keep your pet on their normal schedule as much as possible, but we will definitely have some fun too! Whether it's through a long walks, playing fetch or other pattern games, I'll do my best to make sure they get plenty of physical and mental exercise.
