NURSING 4 PAWS- As you wish!

Pet care experience

When I was twelve years old I started pet sitting and eventually went to school to become a licensed veterinary technician. I worked within a few different specialties but finally settled in canine rehabilitation therapy. This was true love for me and what I loved doing. After starting a family, I knew that I could impact dogs and cats, as well as their owners, in my own way — on an individual basis. This is why I began my own business pet sitting and continuing nursing care. I am a veteran of the US Coast Guard and have also volunteered working with many types of animals, primarily with marine mammals including dolphins, sea lions, harbor seals, elephant seals, and the occasional sea otter. I advocate for all animals and love the differences they all share. They help me to be a better human being on this planet. My passion working with companion animals didn't stop when I started a family and retired as a veterinary technician. I continue to love working with these animals. Now that my children are school age, I am able to dedicate more of my time to my passion as well as share with my family the love that animals offer. Dogs will love that I genuinely enjoy their company. Their owners will love that I'm knowledgeable, dependable, and that every time their dog sees me and my family they will be happy to return time and time again. There are three other human caretakers in the household, my husband Freddy who works from home, and two children: Alyssa, age 9, and Ean, age 7. Additionally, we have a special kitty who is very used to dogs of all kinds. His name is Guinness and he will keep his distance until he gets to know your pup — but if the two of them hit it off, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are cuddling by the afternoon!

Nicole was great! She was quick to respond to my request to walk our girl, Coco, was kind enough to come to our place for a meet and greet, showed up on time for the walk itself and sent pictures of their time out together. Highly recommend!! I will use her again! Thanks, Nicole! ?

Nicole was incredibly professional & nice. Her communication before & during stay was prompt. She was also flexible. Her extra experience as an animal nurse made us even more confident that our doggy family members were in great hands! Would recommend & use her services again!

A typical day

We live in a neighborhood called Ken Caryl Ranch lined with beautiful trees and nicely groomed pathways to walk and explore. The neighbors are equally friendly and have plenty of opportunities to socialize if you choose. Our home is moderately sized and cozy with plenty of room in the back yard to play with toys or just enjoy the sun on the deck. If in my care, your pup would help me take the kids to school in the morning, followed by a nice morning walk. While I finish some chores he could take a little nap or help if he chooses. Then we could enjoy some ball time or chase his favorite toy in the yard, then relax while I read and he cuddles on my lap. Soon, we would leave to pick up the children and they would be anxious to play and snuggle with their four-legged guest. The kids could read to your pup and bedtime would be full of snuggles. Most days would be like this — maybe I would leave for an hour here or there but we would hang out together and become great friends.
