Pet care experience
I was raised on a ranch, and have either owned or cared for animals as common as cats and dogs, or as random as hedgehogs, miniature donkeys and peacocks. I have some medical training which has come in handy before, paired with great intuition, to save peoples furry babies. I can handle bad hips and meds like a pro! I not only take care of your pets with ultimate care, but also your home. I don't wear shoes inside, and you are guaranteed to find the home is just as good, or better condition than you left it. I have never missed a mail pick up, or a trash day. and have never had any kind of bad emergency. There is really not a lot that I can't do, so just communicate with me, so I can make it happen! I recently got stationed here, and I am working in San Luis Obispo, at the Grizzly Military Youth Academy for troubled youth, and living in Nipomo. Thus, depending on the job requirements, I can make it a routine stop to or from work, or at any point in the day, or if it requires me to stay there for elongated hours, I can pack an overnight bag and a sleeping bag. My job can be very stressful, and the comfort of an animal would be very rewarding at the end of the day! That's the biggest reason why I love doing this! Communicate to me what you need, and I can absolutely make it happen. I can work well with written notes or a list of times and amounts of food, medication, treats, etc. However, if you need me to pick something up, please let me know in advance.

It is important to know things as common as medication or allergies, but also as rare as being afraid of men with facial hair. Ibrecognize that each animal has a unique personality and qualities that make him/her special. With out healthy communication and developed relationship over time, I should know everything there is to know. From the spot of the fence they like to try to escape from, to personal no-touchy spots, like the neck or hips. I find in the past that a list via text, email, or written down and left at home, makes it very easy to refresh tiny details and really become familiar with expectations.
A typical day
I understand how important it is to be able to keep your pets as comfortable as possible in your absence. Changing things up too much could be a little off putting and can have an effect on their behavior/health. As for myself, I do VERY well with changes and adaptability and that makes it very easy for me to conform to what you need. If your pets are more comfortable in home/at certian locations, or have a regiment they are familiar with, I can make great efforts to try to keep those practices standard. What I want most is the comfort and safety of your loved ones!
