Vet tech+ experienced dog handler.

Pet care experience

I've been working at a doggy day care and animal hospital for over a year and a rescue volunteer for 2 years. I have a passion for animals and am willing to work with difficult dogs. I love all breeds and sizes. While your dog is in my care I will also work on basic obedience (sit, stay, off, come) my dream is to one day open up a rescue and doggy day care/ boarding facility of my own. I can provide excellent references and you are also welcome to visit my home before boarding your dog with me. I can administer oral and injected medications. I have experience in assisting handicapped animals as well. I can also provide basic services such as nail trims, ear cleaning and bathing/brushing. I am available early mornings, mid day and evenings. If you would like to become a permanent client I am willing to adjust my schedule to your needs.

We have asked Nicole to take care of our cat before and recently as well. She goes beyond what is needed to be done. She cleans up the food bowls, brings in the mail and sends us constant updates. We absolutely trust our pet with her!

Nicole is a great petsitter. She went beyond what we asked her to do and did an awesome job taking care of our cat. She sent me texts and photos and let me know how things are. I will contact her from now on whenever we need someone to take care of our cat.

I have an XL senior dog that can be a handful sometimes. We needed someone to watch him while we were on our honeymoon & are so glad we chose Nicole. She kept us updated the entire time. Leaving him was hard for me, but I would definitely use Nicole in the future to take care of him while I'm away!

I could not be happier with the experience I had with Nicole. Teddy is an old guy with lots of issues. I have a hard time finding people I'm comfortable leaving him with. But she kept me updated throughout the day, sent pictures, texted me the details of his day that only an old dog owner would understand. She even stayed later then I asked so that Teddy would be alone less time before I arrived home. I would totally use her again.

Information Nicole B. would like to know about your pet

I do have 2 cats and a child in my home so if your dog has behavioral issues or does not do well with cats or kids I would prefer to take care of them in your home opposed to mine. Although I am willing to relocate my cats to the basement or a bedroom upstairs if your dog will be staying less than 3 days.. as long as they won't terrorize the cats behind the door. I have a sectional couch and usually have the dogs sleep with me in the living room- if you allow your dogs on furniture. I do not have any breed preferences and I am willing to work with dogs of all kinds.

A typical day

I myself enjoy hiking in the woods, or walks in the park. Your dog can enjoy a game of fetch or tug of war. If you are gone for long hours in the day I can take him or her for a nice hour long hike to get them all nice and tuckered out before you come home from a long day of work.
