Since I was born, my family has owned multiple dogs at a time and I've always taken to others' pets very quickly. Starting when I was about 10, my yellow lab, Pickles, had 3 litters of puppies, all of which I had a big role in caring for. In addition, my other lab, Licorice, has been diagnosed with lymph-node cancer and I'm looking to spend more time around dogs to cope with his inevitable passing. Other pets I have prolonged experience with include cats, rabbits, and chickens.
