I have owned dogs and many other pets all my life, I have cared for family and friend's pets while they have been away. I know the basic needs for a dog and also know the types of foods they can and cannot be fed when taking care of them. I am new at applying for this type of job but do have many experiences with all kinds of pets. I grew up always knowing I wanted to work with animals and this will be the best place to start, especially knowing I can help both animals and people.
