Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs since high school. It’s the best gig I’ve ever had, I’m my happiest around animals. Watching people’s pets has always been a comfort but this has been especially true since losing my own baby elkhound earlier this year. My goal is to make sure pets are happy and owners are comfortable leaving their fur babies with a trusted, experienced pet nanny.

Nicole is awesome! We were nervous about leaving our anxious and feisty 4 yr old pup but Nicole was great with her and immediately put us at ease. She checked-in to let us know how she was doing, and even took her to Starbucks to enjoy her favorite treat! We were grateful to be able to relax and enjoy our weekend away. I definitely recommend her.
Nicole was great! I would definitely recommend her! You can tell that she loves dogs and made my dog feel comfortable. She was very communicative when dropping off and picking up as well.

I live in a small apartment so unfortunately I can only accommodate smaller pets. This tends to work out better for shyer dogs so they can explore and get comfortable faster.

A typical day
I love exploring with the dogs I watch if the owner feels comfortable. Near my apartment there is a short but fun trail I like to take dogs on and a grassy spot behind some buildings that people don’t really go to where I like to take dogs to play off leash. Otherwise, depending on whether the owner is comfortable with it and the dog’s personality, I love Solana dog beach

Availability
I work a regular 9-5 during the week, may occasionally be flexible with shorter stays, but overall may not be a good fit for dogs with more severe separation anxiety to stay during the week.
