I currently work with dogs in a professional capacity and have experience with all sizes, ages and special needs. I have even watched three Great Danes at once and cared for a Doberman for 3 months while a friend was overseas. I have additional experience administering medications to special needs and elderly dogs. I am definitely one of those "dog magnet" people! Dogs sense how excited I am when passing on the street and run up to me all the time. They're owners often say "sorry, he NEVER does that!" but I get it all the time. Dogs know immediately that I will take good care of them and can often figure out what they need at any given time. My background is in customer service/hospitality/sales so my clients appreciate my responsiveness, thoroughness and they know I will love and treat their pups like my own. I live with my partner Sean who also loves dogs and has a 10yr old son who stays with us every other weekend. He has a dog at home and just thinks it’s so cool that we have different dogs all the time and they love him too. I work from home for my other job in the mornings and am usually just gone a few hours in the afternoon. Sean also works from home often during the week so dogs are never left alone for long periods of time. We live in walking distance from a few parks and two dog parks if your pup is allowed to play with others. There are also plenty of dog friendly patios and Ruff Haus within walking distance that I can take them to in the warmer months. Our condo is on the third floor of our building so the stairs may not be suitable for larger dogs with hip issues. However, you are more than welcome to bring your dog by to test that our prior to the stay. I'm a certified instructor which offers me a calm, caring and uplifting demeanor which dogs are attracted to. I am also a violinist and excellent cook!
