Pet care experience
I love dogs. We would have our own but with small children, we are unable to commit at the moment. I got my dog-fix from using Borrow My Doggy before and befriended 2 furry friends; one I would homesit during the day when owner was at work, and the other I regularly look after in my own home and have become close friends with the owner through the dog ☺️ I also petsit for family member’s dogs (two large breeds) in my own home, and previously owned family JR dog as a teenager growing up.

Teddy absolutely loves spending time with Nicky and her family. We always know that Teddy is in safe hands when he’s with Nicky, she provides lots of exercise and her kids are a great with Teddy. We have used Nicky many time and never had any issues she is always our first call if we ever need some cover.

I have a large fenced garden and a detached house. Our garden leads directly to woodland from the back gate so is ideal for short strolls/when shade is needed. I do have small children (two under the age of 7) so this must be a priority to be considered when considering me and assurance your pet is ok with small children. They will be supervised by myself around your pet at all times

Let me know if specific needs your dog has. I am unlikely to be able to cater for multiple/walks in excess of 30-40minutes per day. I have small children (who will be supervised at all times around your pet) but your pet must be able to tolerate their presence and energy.
A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs in our large garden, and playing tug with toys. We have a comfortable home and they can relax with us, or have their own space if needed, and can keep me company in my home office while working. Dogs add enrichment to our lives so we are grateful for guests ☺️

Availability
I hybrid work - two days in the office and two days at home generally, although this varies and I can work from home more if needed. My husband in the household can assist when I am at work (he has been verified by Rover) with care and walks. I have a flexible working schedule and can give time for walks at lunchtimes or after work. I am available to accommodate home drop-ins with feeding, cuddles and short walks, collect and walk at lunchtime or the evening, and consider home-stays in my own home with agreement, including general care, cuddles, playing and walks.
