I got my first pet when I was 4; a fish. That turned into more fish, rabbits, chickens, peacocks, quail, a parrot and a goat by the time I was 14. Unfortunately, my parents couldn't have any fur bearing animals inside, so I got my fix by starting a neighborhood dog walking gig. I now have 1 dog, 2 goats, and 7 chickens. I can care for puppies/ kittens, elderly critters, and everything in between! I've always been an animal lover and have forever had a way with taming even the shy ones. I went to school for wildlife conservation and have learned lots of animal behavior and training in my studies. I've worked with everything from giraffes and black rhinos to arctic foxes and red wolves. I have confidence I can read your critter and care for them in a way that they're royalty! I have myriad experience in training as well. I can potty training puppies, teach commands and tricks, I am currently training my puppy in scent work and protection (though he is still a wee lad!). I have trained Iditarod sled dogs in my home, Alaska. I have trained my goats to skijour, pull a dog sled (including turn commands), pack our gear, and all sorts of random tricks. I've even trained my chickens to get into their coop and jump on my lap! So, if you have anything you'd like me to work on, please let me know and we can discuss a price. I can also take your fuzzy friends on a hike if you'd like! I do charge a bit more because of logistics and gas, but I know my critters would choose a hike over a walk any day!
