From past pet experience, I watched my aunts border collie puppy throughout the day while she was at work. As she got older our bond grew stronger and it made me fall in love with dogs. I am a student athlete, i have just moved to Long Beach from Oregon to play water polo at Long Beach City College in the spring. Getting out and staying active is very important to me as an athlete and what better way to stay active then to do it a dog. Staying active doing quarantine has been really hard and this is my best opportunity to get out and get active again. Dogs need to stay active in order for them to live long, healthy, happy lives. Being a part of helping them means a lot to me.
