Pet care experience
I worked for a professional pet sitting company for 5+ years in my 20's before I moved to Key West, I even had many of my own clients that I worked with on a regular basis. I recently moved to this area to be closer to my family, and am starting nursing school next year. Not only is caring for animals one of my greatest passions in life, it is the perfect part time gig to supplement my income while I study for entrance exams and beyond. I grew up with every kind of pet you can imagine, and love all of them the same. Whether its dog, cat lizard, rat, bird, ferret, hermit crab, etc...they will be loved like they are my own while in my care. PLEASE NOTE FOR HOUSE SITTING INQUIRIES - I do have a small dog, my 9 year old sweet Puggle named Meredith. For requests to have me board your pets, I suggest a meet & greet first to make sure everyone is comfortable with each other! For having me stay in your home, Meredith will come with me to take care of your babies! She is very calm and loves other animals and we would be happy to do a meet & greet for this situation as well :)

Nickie offered a meet and greet before she took care of our Cavapoo puppy, Becky. We met Nickie and her puggle so we were very comfortable having her care for Becky. Nickie had lots of doggie toys in her home and brought her on a long walk. The pictures she sent us were very reassuring, since this was the first time we left Becky with anyone. When my husband picked up Becky, she tried following Nickie and her dog back into her home. She clearly enjoyed her time with them and even whimpered as my husband drove away. We highly recommend Nickie as she was very caring, responsible, and loving to our puppy.
Nickie went above and beyond while doing 4/day in-house visits with our high energy mountain cur. The week we were away was terrible weather. She had trouble getting to our house with flooded roadways etc. and she still made every visit! We ran out of dog treats while she was there, and Nickie went out and bought some for our dog. She even walked our pup in the pouring rain to make sure Shelby got out. Nickie has excellent communication skills, is uber-reliable, and our pup seemed happy the whole time. We highly recommend Nickie and will definitely have her watch our dog again.

I live in a cosy one bedroom apartment with my puggle, Meredith. She is the most important person in my life! The apartment building is surrounded by grass and peaceful neighborhoods, and we typically go for hour long walks 3-4 times a day. On nice days, I take her out to peace valley park or the dog park and we get fresh air! If I am pet sitting in your home, I will treat it like my own with the utmost care and respect. And the most important factor to me is the health, safety, and happiness of every creature, great and small!

Please be sure to let me know all your dogs personality traits and quirks and preferences so I can make sure they feel safe and loved with me. For instance my dog is afraid of small children, so I am on extra alert when we pass any on our walks.
