Pet care experience
I grew up with a medium-sized dog, whom I often bathed, fed pills, walked, allowed to slobber over me, and generally loved. In the time since I lived with my dear pup, I have occasionally taken care of a friend's dog for a weekend here and there, and always enjoy the opportunity to hang out with a canine companion. I especially love making the environment as comfortable and inviting to a pet as possible. I also have experience checking in on cats, feeding them, cleaning the litter box and making sure they are healthy and feeling secure and comfortable in their environment.

I have known Nick since 2014, and I can say with full confidence that he is one of the most responsible people I know and also incredibly compassionate too. When I met Nick I remember talking about our pets. Nick talked about Percy, his childhood dog and I could tell how much he loved his dog. Nick also loves being outside so taking a dog for walk would not be an issue. Nick recently told that he wants a dog, but that is probably not the best timing yet as he has not settled into a a place, having the chance to be a loving dog caregiver would be a perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend nick. He is ideal for this position.

Spacious, dog-friendly apartment, although there are no other pets who live in it at the moment. I live with one roommate who is also a dog and cat lover. I'd be able to take the dog on walks or runs on nearby paths, or just to a park across the street.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time, and mostly from home, so I have plenty of availability to give a pet the attention it might need. The whole apartment, including the bed, is free roaming space, although if the owner prefers, we could also easily fence in one of our lesser-used rooms as the pup's personal playpen. Weekdays are especially flexible, and weekends I'm around and at your (pet's) whim after 6pm (and occasionally earlier).
